Teaching Angelo [Brac Village 14] Siren Publishing Everlasting Classic ManLove edition by Lynn Hagen Literature Fiction eBooks
I really enjoyed the beginning of this book, especially since Angelo (fox shifter) finds his mate, Bishop (snow leopard), and for once both characters were on the same page without one feeling the need to make the whole mating aspect of the story so highly difficult. They both flirted mercilessly and humorously with each other, and wasted no time falling into bed. It was after that that Angelo's trouble started. Bishop just happened to be severely OCD, and couldn't tolerate Angelo's messiness, so naturally he started pushing him away. I was so annoyed with Bishop for how he was treating his mate, which left me wondering why Bishop didn't just simply explain his issues to Angelo (yeah, that would be too easy and more entertaining for me. :D). There were plenty of intense situations going on in the background that the two main characters could have communicated their feelings without it taking anything away from the intricately woven plot. I was ecstatic that there were so many past characters who have grown dear to my heart, included in this addition to the series, and luckily the author found a way to remind us of who some of the secondary characters were, which really helped me to remember their stories (some from her other series). As usual, I found this to be quite an engaging, a little bit sad, and sizzling read.Product details

Ok so every review I give for Lynn's books are always positive. that being said I thought this book jumped around a little. Don't get me wrong I loved to plot but found myself drifting. Still all in all I loved the book.
Even fated love is not a smooth journey. Fun, family, mishaps & adventures.
I love these guys, more please.
Check Lynn Hagen's site (her name.com), it will give you an authors suggested reading order.
The list encompasses 9 different series that weave together.
Each series & book can be read alone, I just like the continuity.
Angelo was the good friend and roommate to Kiki from the previous book, "Polar Opposites". This time fox-shifter Angelo is looking for a roommate to replace Kiki, when he gets an offer to stay with a local snow-leopard shifter named Bishop Marshall. These were both great characters. I especially love Angelo. Bishop is the brother of former (innocent) convict Kade from "Keaton's Lessons". Mutual friends had convinced the extremely neat and orderly Bishop to open his home to Angelo and when the two meet they discover they are mates. But the little fox-shifter gets a bad feeling about their future the moment he sets foot into Bishop's pristine car, and his even cleaner home. Oh, and excitingly, a new character may be introduced soon, a tall, mysterious man with long dark hair who's last name is... Brac. A lot happens in this book that I didn't even begin to cover. It was quite an exciting read. )
I like Lynn Hagen. I enjoy each series and accept crossovers (Brac Pack, Zeus's Pack, Brac Village, Demon Warriors, The Exiled, Christian's Coven...). But if you read this story there is a serious lack of content, angst, relationship and character development around the central characters. I was enjoying the story of Angelo and Bishop - waiting for Bishop's OCD to play out because it had the potential to impact seriously on his mating, there was a hint of darkness around Mr Emerson - what happened to him? And there are mysterious men in Brac Village - the locals have been told to keep an eye out, so it is funny when Johnny (from Brac Pack), Angelo and friends start tailing them because stealthy they are not!!! But while the story is called Teaching Angelo there is just nothing there - what is he actually being taught? I still don't know - Bishop keeps saying he is going to teach Angelo but no cigar.
Half the story is Brac Pack (Maverick and Cecil's grandson being kidnapped and the hunt for him) so why did it take up so much of Angelo and Bishop's story? They aren't even mentioned in that part of the book. And then the ending is Panashi in the Void with Death seeing evil encroach on his home and his mates.
I felt like this was a taster plate - bits of stories to have a taste of to see which series you want to go with. Disappointing in terms of the supposed focus of the story. Other series woven into the story is usual in Lynn Hagen's books and I like that, but there are whole chunks here that don't relate to the story. Where is the flowing story with in-depth character development? I have read everything Lynn Hagen has written and I am feeling something is lacking these days. I want a full story with characters being revealed in all their technicolor wonder (like Nero and Johnny in Brac Pack). I have given it 3 stars but it deserves more of a 2.5. I am feeling unsatisfied.
